Logosuunnittelu: Soma Paint & Wine
Soma Paint & Wine on luova ohjelma, jonka tarjoaa Soma Adventures, yhdistäen maalaamisen ilon ja viinin nautinnon. Logon suunnittelussa käytin lähtökohtana olemassa olevaa Soma Adventures -logo (jonka en itse luonut) varmistaakseni visuaalisen yhtenäisyyden brändin kanssa.
Keskityin erityisesti kirjaimeen “O”, jonka muokkasin muistuttamaan sekä viinilasin jättämää tahraa että pensselillä maalattua ympyrää – täydellinen yhdistelmä viiniä ja taidetta. Valitsin “O”:lle kultaisen värin, joka inspiroitui siitä, miten kauniisti kultaiset yksityiskohdat erottuivat ohjelman maalauksissa. Lämmin, elegantti sävy tuo tyylikkyyttä, mutta pitää logon silti helposti lähestyttävänä.
Aluksi kokeilin pieniä yksityiskohtia “Paint & Wine” -tekstiin, mutta päädyin yksinkertaisempaan ratkaisuun. Tämä antaa Somalle tilaa erottua ja säilyttää logon tyylikkäänä, mutta helposti lähestyttävänä.
Lopullinen logo toimii kauniisti sekä värillisenä että yksivärisenä versiona, mikä tekee siitä monikäyttöisen erilaisiin sovelluksiin.
Logo design: Soma Paint & Wine
Soma Paint & Wine is a creative activity programme offered by Soma Adventures, combining the joy of painting with the pleasure of wine. For the logo design, I used the existing Soma Adventures logo (which I did not create) as a starting point to ensure a cohesive visual connection with the brand.
I focused on the letter “O”, transforming it to resemble both the stain left by a wine glass and a brush-painted circle – a perfect fusion of wine and art. I chose a golden color for the “O,” inspired by the way golden details stood out in the paintings made during this certain activity. The warm, elegant tone adds a touch of sophistication while remaining approachable.
Initially, I experimented with small details in the “Paint & Wine” text, but I ultimately opted for a simpler approach. This allows the Soma element to shine and keeps the logo stylish, yet friendly and accessible.
The final logo works beautifully both in black and white, making it versatile for different applications.
